DO NOT DESPISE THE DAY OF LITTLE BEGINNINGS

DO NOT DESPISE THE DAY OF LITTLE BEGINNINGS

Do not look down on your early days.
They are stepping stones to your success ladder.
•Last year February I started organising free motivational speaking events for students at @uniessex

•I went all out to plan this events which involved providing food, drinks souvenirs and inviting speakers called @sioc2018
•Most people believed I should charge students for this event but instead I kept my events free.
•I invested money and resources into planning and setting up sicoc events.
•I wanted to give up some days but my loved ones encouraged me.
•A year after I’m here planning professional events for people.

I am been invited to plan events for over 100 people how?
•God is this how you work?
I only plan free motivational speaking events for about 30-40 people.
Now I get paid to plan events for over 100 people? •Your days of small beginnings brought you here.

Remain #consistent and #faithful in whatever you do.

I hope this was able to inspire you to put in Hard work in your current little beginnings even if you have to spend some money.

Choosing God First

Last year, I worked at a university as a receptionist for various summer school events. During that time, I built meaningful connections with students and teachers and by the end of the season, I felt inspired to pursue a similar role this year. However, when the offer came through, there was a change in the offer. The offer was at a different location than I had applied for and required me to work six days a week—including Sundays.   I took time to consider the offer carefully. Missing church services on Sunday was not a good decision for me for six weeks due to my commitment in Church. I decided I couldn’t accept a role that would prevent me from attending church on Sundays. So, I reached out, politely declining the revised offer and asked if I could be considered for the original role that didn’t require working on Sun...

God’s Leading Is Always Superior (Part1)

In December 2022, I found myself at a crossroads. I’d just wrapped up a temporary teaching role in November and was seeking a full-time, permanent teaching position. The desire for stability and purpose was strong. I attended Shiloh program, where Bishop Oyedepo spoke passionately about seeking God’s guidance and waiting for his guidance. Following his advice, I wrote down a list of four schools I wanted to apply to and began praying over each one, asking God which direction to take. Surprisingly, I felt nudged to apply to the fifth school on my list. I began praying earnestly about this school using  two scriptures that felt particularly relevant: Genesis 1:2 - “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Psalm 44:3 - “For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance...
