35 days TO THE NEW YEAR

35 days to the New year!!!

Get excited because your story is about to change.
That thing you have been trusting God  for is about to meet you speedily.
Believe me or not it is going to happen. God has a way of surprising us at the last minute.
I wrote a similar post like this last year called 50 days to the new year if you haven't seen it you can  read it here. 50 days
This is actually the second part of the post but this time, around we are having a different approach to the 35 remaining days of the year.
We all know our bible tells us in the book of ECCLESIASTES 7:8 (NIV)
"The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride."
Another translation says (KJV)
"Better is the end of a thing thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit".
Better is the end of a thing so it doesn't matter how the year started  for you but what matters now is how you end  this year 2015 because the end always speaks and covers the beginning
Don't play with this season of the year. This last hour is the time to hold on to God and call upon him. It is the time to be like JABEZ in the book of 1st chronicles 4:10 when he called upon God of Israel!

"Saying Oh that you would Bless me and Enlarge my Coast, and that your hand might be
with me,and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain"!
And GOD granted what he asked.
So be like JABEZ at this last hour and seek God believing that he would fulfil all he has promised you. Always know that God is able to do what he says he would do so even as the year is about to end, hold on to his word which says that 'better is the end of a thing than its beginning'; better is the end of the year 2015. Better are your accomplishments, better is your work with God. AMEN!
You should begin to Know him more and seek his face more in your decisions even before the end of this year. I tell you that he would exceed your expectations and surpass your desires. I can assure you that there is a testimony waiting for you.
I Always say this, our God has a way of surprising us when we least expect it so it does not matter what the situation is because he is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think. Build up your faith and hold on to God's word.He would definitely show up before the year runs out.
Believe all the words that he has spoken to you this year 2015 it will surely come to pass although it may tarry but it will surely come to pass in your life.
I would leave everyone with my favourite scripture  in the bible which is Isaiah 55:11
which says
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:It shall not return unto me void, but It shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" .
That's the word of God for everyone this season
Stay Blessed Everyone.
Oluwatosin Oshodi.

Choosing God First

Last year, I worked at a university as a receptionist for various summer school events. During that time, I built meaningful connections with students and teachers and by the end of the season, I felt inspired to pursue a similar role this year. So, when Easter came around, I began applying to different summer school positions. I had an interview for one of my top choices in June, and it went really well! However, when the offer came through, there was a change in the offer. The offer was at a different location than I had applied for and required me to work six days a week—including Sundays.   I took time to consider the offer carefully. Missing church services on Sunday was not a good decision for me for six weeks due to my commitment in Church. I decided I couldn’t accept a role that would prevent me from attending church on Sundays. So, I reached out, politely declining the revised offer and asked if I could be considered for the original role that didn’t require working on Sun...

God’s Leading Is Always Superior (Part1)

In December 2022, I found myself at a crossroads. I’d just wrapped up a temporary teaching role in November and was seeking a full-time, permanent teaching position. The desire for stability and purpose was strong. I attended Shiloh program, where Bishop Oyedepo spoke passionately about seeking God’s guidance and waiting for his guidance. Following his advice, I wrote down a list of four schools I wanted to apply to and began praying over each one, asking God which direction to take. Surprisingly, I felt nudged to apply to the fifth school on my list. I began praying earnestly about this school using  two scriptures that felt particularly relevant: Genesis 1:2 - “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Psalm 44:3 - “For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance...
